AS VAL is a rank 3 rifle in Far Cry 6. Far Cry 6 boasts of its vast array of weaponry. The game has a total of 98 weapons amongst which 49 are purchasable weapons and the other 49 are Unique Weapons.
If you successfully find all the Unique Weapons you will unlock the Armed to the Teeth trophy and achievement.

The AS VAL is capable of a lot of damage and is mostly accurate. It lands wherever you aim it at and makes your enemies shudder whenever they stand on the wrong end of it.
It has average velocity and is bad at stealth. With a 900 Rate Of Fire and 20 magazine, the AS VAL is a tiny bit below the average at handling.
Whereabouts of AS VAL
AS VAL is a non-unique weapon in Far Cry 6. Like all other non-unique weapons it can be acquired from FND chests while the Unique Weapons will be available from the Yaran Contraband Chests.
Remember that FND chests can contain literally anything. You have a pretty good chance of finding random gear and gunpowder.
But look for AS VAL in an FND chest located outside a small military-held camp at a club north of the Castillo National Zoo and you won’t be disappointed!
You will also be able to find the AS VAL from Juan’s Arms Dealers with the help of Yaran Pesos. Juan’s Arms Dealers will be marked by a green icon with a shopping cart.
Or you could find the weapon at Guerrilla Garrison which is a Camp Facility built via the Construction Desk) using Yaran Pesos again.
To get it from Juan’s Arms Dealers you would need to get a Player Rank 9 and Guerrilla Garrison Level 2 to obtain it from Guerrilla Garrison.
