How To Put Enchantments On Something In The First Place

First and foremost, to craft an Enchantment on something in Minecraft, players will require an enchanting table. Any kind of tools, craft, gear, or weapons will only be able to be made on an enchanting table. Working with an enchanting table is tricky though.

There’s no way of knowing what the enchanting table will give birth to. You could get your item with amazing additional abilities, or you could end up with empty worthless enchantment. Moreover, with multiple enchantments you can improve the quality of your weapons drastically.

Players have three methods that will help them put an enchantment on a thing. For starters, you can either opt for a Minecraft enchanting table, which will require you to trade XP and lapis lazuli to put enchantment on an item or you could choose the Minecraft Anvil and Enchanted book method that will require you to combine the both with an unenchanted object (XP required too).

The third method will require you to combine one enchanted item with another enchanted item to create one item with two enchantments.

How To Put Multiple Enchantments On An Item In Minecraft

Following are the two ways to put multiple enchantments on any items –

1. Combining Two Items

After an enchantment has been put on an item it’s almost impossible for players to put yet another enchantment on the same item. To put multiple enchantments on an item in Minecraft, players will have to use an anvil. After you are done enchanting an item you can try two different ways to put an enchantment on them again.

By using an anvil you can combine the already enchanted item with another enchanted one to put yet another enchantment on it. This method will cost you an immense amount of XP if you’re combining two powerful enchantments to get multiple enchantments on single item. Especially with level IV and V, it usually costs greater than 20 levels of XP.

2. Combining Item With Enchanted Book

The second method will require you to use an enchantment book. First, you need to get an enchanted book from the enchanting table. Otherwise, you will be able to find it inside several chests in the game. You can combine two enchanted books too, in case you want. Get to the anvil and enter the enchanted book and another item on which you want to get multiple enchantments on specific item.

This method will also cost you XP levels depending on strength of enchantment. You will then get yourself a double enchanted book! You can also use these to put an enchantment on other items!
