How To Catch A Golden Stag in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Golden Stag is a very rare type of stag that sells for 12,000 Bells! The Golden Stag is not the toughest bug to find in Animal Crossing New Horizons for nothing.

It spawns in a certain season and can only be found in a particular period. You can look for the Golden Stag in July and August in the Northern hemisphere from 5 PM to 8 AM.

Or you could try your luck in January and February from 5 in the evening to 8 in the morning. You will be able to find the Golden Stag on Palm trees both times.

To catch the Golden Stag you will require the same equipment you use while hunting down those bugs you find near your bed or your favorite potted plant. You will find these virtual bugs around the trees, stumps and rocks just like the real ones.

Equip by getting yourself a net to catch the Golden Stag. Now press the X button to take a peek into your pocket and select your net. You will also be able to equip yourself with a net from Tool Ring.

The Golden Stag will fly away if you are careless, thus stay on the tip of your toes and be cautious while approaching the Golden Stag. Do not move quickly, be patient.

Now hold down the A Button and move the right stick to approach it cautiously. Once you are close enough to the Golden Stag release the A Button to swing your net and grab it.

Voila! You have the Golden Stag with you now!
