Why Do You Need Flowers In Your Island?

Just like an artist has a blank canvas to let his/her imagination go wild, players of Animal Crossing New Horizons will have a whole island to work with! Customize the island exactly the way you want it. Use trees, plants and flowers of course, to make your island prettier and better!

Although flowers are not the only thing that will help you customize your island the way you want, these dainty delicate beauties will make sure your island remains an eye candy.

You can use flowers to create Wreaths (Cosmos Wreath) for decorations but flowers aren’t going to be just the showpieces of the show. These flowers will help you attract bugs and will prove themselves useful in many DIY recipes.

Animal Crossing Hybrid Flowers And How To Make Them

The Animal Crossing New Horizons has flowers of different species and colors and each of them is as unique as the last. Make sure you make these flowers from seeds to get optimal results!

Players will need to plant the flowers in a diagonal checkerboard pattern to cross-pollinate flowers efficiently and get the rare hybrid flowers that they wanted.

The checkerboard patterns must have a gap between each plant to allow new flowers to grow from parent flowers right beside them.

To help these flowers grow players would have to water them properly. You would be able to know that these flowers are adequately watered by glancing at them. If a plant sparkles, it’s all well-cared for and healthy. To water these plants players would have to use their own watering can or just wait for the good old rain. After you have completed all these steps a hybrid flower will eventually begin to grow amongst one of the empty spaces present in front of you.
