Chongyun believes in rotting out the evil by way of charms and swordsmanship. For this to become true, he trains himself every day for exorcism techniques and martial arts.

Demonbane
This attack can be categorized into three basic criteria. Normal, Charged, and Plunging attack.
Normal Attack: Chongyun can perform up to 4 consecutive strikes back to back.
Charged Attack: Consumes Stamina to throw swirling blows to nearby enemies, followed by a powerful slash. This attack is useful to deal with AoE damage.
Plunging Attack: Another famous move inspired by basic sword gameplay is the mid-air blow that takes the enemy by surprise. Upon landing, the AoE attack is generated at the ground.
Spirit Blade: Chonghua’s Layered Frost
The elemental attack is basically a periodic excess attack by any character of the game. However, this drains stamina and regenerates over a minute time period.
Chongyun attacks with his sword, causing a Cryo explosion in a circular swirl. Over a certain time period, the same Cryo attacks tun into a Chonghua Forest Field, which causes overall damage to a field of great Cryo attacks, hence leaving the enemy in the sense of absolute stun.
Spirit Blade – Cloud-parting Star
Who doesn’t love a good hand seal that can summon part of your attacks and deal with heavy damage to the enemy? The same is possible with Chongyun. He can summon 3 giant spirit blades in mid-air that explode when it hits the ground. The fundamental damage cause is Cryo damage, which launches just over the enemies and splutters them apart.
But the character doesn’t restrict the above attacks. He also has Passive Talents, which help to up the game when not in a battle or even in a battle altogether.
Passive Talent 1- Steady Breathing:
When the previously mentioned Spirit Blade Layered Forest attacks are made, it increases the Attack Speed by 8%. This effect applies to all characters carrying Swords, Claymore, or Polearm within the field of Layered Frost.
Passive Talent 2- Rimechaser Blade:
After using the spirit blades, another spirit/ghost is summoned, which strikes the nearby enemies and causes great damage in the form of Cryo Attacks. This attack deals 100% damage to Chonghua’s Layered Frost, and the enemies have their cryo resilience reduced by 10% for 8seconds.
Passive Talent 3- Gallant Journey:
When playing an expedition in the city of Liyue, the expedition’s total time is reduced to 75%.

Constellations are very important to have buffs on your base numbers. Chongyun has good crowd control abilities, which can be beneficial for other team members. Make sure you use these abilities to win every battle.
Ice Unleashed
When performing Normal attacks, the last attack releases three ice blades. These blades deal with 50% damage to the Genshin Impact Chongyun’s Cryo damage.

In Frost Field, created by Elemental Attack (Layered Frost), your Elemental Skills and Elemental Burst have their cooldown reduced by 15%.

If the enemies are affected by the Cold or Frozen effect, Genshin Impact Chongyun regenerates 1 Energy each time he hits an enemy. This regeneration occurs only once in 2 seconds.

Spirit Blade – Chonghua’s Layered Frost‘s level increased by 3.You can upgrade until a maximum of 15 levels only.
Rally of Four Blades
If the enemy has less percent of health remaining than Chongyun, your Elemental Burst ability deals 15% more damage to them. Using these skills generated 1 ghost/spirit for each blade.
Genshin Impact Chongyun Builds
Builds are essential for the good performance of your character. With a good build, you can be a better player for your team. There are multiple builds available for Chongyun. Cryo Support Build and Cryo DPS Build are the two builds that are best for this character.
Cryo Support Build
Cryo Support can be beneficial because of the Elemental Reaction of Melt. Since Genshin Impact Chongyun has a way to apply this reaction consistently, you can make good use of this character against some enemies. Weapon
The two viable weapons in Support Builds are Wolf’s Gravestone and Skyward Pride. With these two weapons, you can increase your own damage output as well as increase your party member’s damage.
Wolf’s Gravestone
Wolf’s Gravestone increases the base damage by 20/25/30/35/40%. On hitting the enemies with less than 30% health, increase your party member’s attack by 40/50/60/70/80% for 12 seconds.
Skyward Pride
Skyward Pride increases the base damage by 8/10/12/14/16%. After using your Elemental abilities, you gain an extra blade that deals 80/100/120/140/160% of the base damage. This effect lasts for 20 seconds.
Artifact Sets
Artifact Sets are significant to gain an advantage on your weapons.
Noblesse Oblige
On level 2, increase the Elemental Burst Damage by 20%.
On level 4, it increases the party’s member’s damage by 20% for 12 seconds after using Elemental Burst.
Cryo DPS Build
Cryo DPS build totally dependent on using Elemental Burst damage. As the constellations buff the damage of this ability, you can build a good DPS build like other DPS characters.
Weapon

In Cryo DPS build, the artifact sets include only Noblesse Oblige. This artifact increases the Critical damage and Cryo Damage.
