Far Cry 6 Helicopter Locations
A helicopter ride will do you good. Soaring above the monotonous perspective of the everyday chaos, a helicopter ride will make everything seem smaller than it is and will give you a much-required break!
Far Cry 6 has a collection of 5 amazing helicopters that you can find and take a ride on! But beware, mostly these locations won’t be easy to access and will be controlled by Castillo’s forces.
Having access to a helicopter will also make it easier for you to travel around Yara. The map of Far Cry 6 also has several helipad pickup locations that your players can make use of.
The five major helicopters that you can grab in Far Cry 6 from different locations are:
- 1952 Kaumbat R-25
- 1952 Kaumbat R-25 WSP
- 1968 Garin Vorona C
- 1968 Garin Vorona CT
- Avispa Buzzer (Resolver)
Among all these helicopters, the 1952 Kaumbat R-25 helicopter is part of a mission and so there is no way you will miss this particular one and get that helicopter.
Below are the detailed descriptions of each of the five types of helicopters and from where you can get each of them.
1952 Kaumbat R-25
Described as a “Commercial version of a Korean War staple, most commonly distributed among the ‘hillfolk’ of the northwestern US,” the 1952 Kaumbat R-25 can be acquired automatically as it’s a part of the story.
It’s quite unmissable and can be registered as your own if you bring it to the Vehicle Pickup point.
1952 Kaumbat R-25 WSP
Spawning at almost all helicopter bases under the control of Castillo’s men, the 1952 Kaumbat 2-25 WSP is a commonly found helicopter.
Located at the base east of the Cobre River and north of the Dos Monjas Mogote, the 1952 Kaumbat 2-25 WSP can be also found at the Del Toro Airstrip in Costa Del Mar.
The 1952 Kaumbat 2-25 WSP will trigger combat against your enemies and will help you sneak into any hideout or base of your own with a landing pad to add it to your collection of vehicles! For a quick crash, you shoot the engine under the rotor.
1968 Garin Vorona C
The 1968 Garin Vorona C is not just another copter in the Fuerzas Nacionales de Defensa. For starters, it’s highly durable (more than most Kaumbat R-25 variants). With side machine guns and rockets, the 1968 Garin Vorona C can be found at most FND bases.
The one common spawn would be Velazco Airstrip along the west coast, across the bay from Tempestad Lighthouse. You can also find it at the Del Toro Airstrip and Noventarmas International Airport.
Add it to your collection by bringing it to the Vehicle Pickup Point.
1968 Garin Vorona CT
The 1968 Garin Vorona CT is rarer than the 1968 Garin Vorona C and doesn’t come to you as easy. It is very difficult to commandeer and you would require both luck and work to get it. Acquire an EMP ability by using Volta Supremo in exchange for 100 depleted uranium at Juan’s store.
Create as much chaos as you can and attack your enemies. Get into the Wanted Level to have the 1968 Garin Vorona CT spawn.
Be cautious as the Volta Supremo will make th helicopter steer out of your control. Destroy your enemies and don’t let them take the 1968 Garin Vorona CT away from you.
You will be able to find the 1968 Garin Vorona CT at the El President Square in Esperanza.
Avispa Buzzer (Resolver)
The Avispa Buzzer is the rarest copter in the game. Although it comes with no weapons and will be quite useless for assaults it can land anywhere at any time.
What’s more? It doesn’t get damaged from treetops or the surrounding fauna. You can find the Avispa Buzzer in the Fuego Valley located in Lozania.
Grapple yourself down and find the Avispa Buzzer waiting for you inside the cave. While lowering you can collect materials like Supremo-Bond and Recycled Glass.
