Borderlands 3 Red Chests Locations

Convenant Pass Red Chest

At convent Pass, there is only one chest available for you. But you cannot reopen this chest because it is in the middle of the primary mission as it is always caught by the character’s shield.

The Droughts Red Chest 1

The first red chest is hidden inside the scrapyard where you will get Claptrap after quitting the Crimson Raiders. You can only open it by completing the side mission titled Powerful Connections and performing the optional objective to add the human spine and power the vending machine.

The Droughts Red Chest 2

You will find this red chest at the bandit, part of your Side Mission known as Dump on Dumptruck. You can find the base by picking a vehicle and driving it to the north direction from Crimson Raiders base across the gap and search for a tall building available on the left.

The Droughts Red Chest 3

The following Borderlands 3 Red Chest is trickly located inside Ellie’s Garage. You can find it at the right corner of the Crimson Raider base at the initial section of the region in Borderlands 3.

Ascension Bluff Red Chest

At Ascension Buff, there is only one red chest available. It is located inside a sealed chamber located at Holy Broadcast Center. You have to wait until the main story returns to the fight against the New Mouthpiece to unlocking the room. When you defeat the boss, you will be directed to use the organ in the next room, and thus, it will open the far door to reach Red Chest.

Devil’s Razor Red Chest 1

At Devil Razor, you will find 2 chests. One is located at the top of the tower fort, at the southeast section of the map. It is not far, very far from Catch-a-Ride Station, and it is the exit to another region. Remove the bandits guarding the post and search for the stairs and a path to circle the tower and jump till you reach the top of the room and with a roof. Walk on the roof, and you will see a chest.

Devil’s Razor Red Chest 2

You can search for the second Borderlands 3 Red Chest at the east of the Sin-e-plex movie theatre location, which is located on the top of pipe systems. The best practice is to travel towards the West Boomtown and move along the walls at opposite sides till you get to know some low pipes crossing inside the ground. You can use them to climb up at the soft rooftop of the facility. You must make your own path around the circular building and move to the eastern edge to collect the chest.

Splinterlands Red Chest 1

In Splinterlands, you will find 2 chests. It is easy to locate the first chest, and also, it is easy to miss it. It is available at the Catch-a-Ride Station, located at the north end section of the map near the camp in the big desert.

Splinterlands Red Chest 2

The second Red Chest is located at the end of an unknown amusement park area. There is a big roller coaster ride and remember the prize is related to the coaster.

Carnivora Red Chest 1

The initial two Borderlands 3 Red Chests are available in Carnivora. You can find it easily at the initial phases while entering the region, which is located above the makeshift town known as Stacked Deck.

Carnivora Red Chest 2

You will find the second Red Chest in the vast desert area of Carnivora. It is available on the north side of an enormous circular structure. It will highlight the top northwest area on the map.

Guts of Carnivora Red Chest 1

You will find the initial two Red Chests available in the Guts of Carnivora dungeon. But you can easily miss to collect it because it will be hidden at the top of the large inner guts room which is available below in the big circular room.

Guts of Carnivora Red Chest 2

You will get the second Guts of Carnivora Red Chest in an open area available above the Windswept Catwalks. When you successfully defeat the mini-boss, you must return to the site before the large central room.

Konrad’s Hold Red Chest

Here, you will find only one Red Chest, and you can reach here during the Childhood’s End side mission. It will make you travel inside the bowels of the region that are below the central areas.

Sunblast Scar Red Chest

At Sunblast Scar, there is only one chest available for you, and you can find it near the driving zone. It is located towards the end of the region after making multiple switchbacks on a narrow and curving road, resulting in various strong enemies.

Cathedral of the Twin Gods Red Chest 1

The first Borderlands 3 Red Chest is very quickly available when you enter the Outer Sanctum. It is open inside a room which hides off the main road of your attack.

Meridian Metroplex Red Chest 1

The first Red Chest is essentially offered to you as a part of one of the primary story missions available at Maliwan Armory located in the Meridian Metroplex.

Meridian Metroplex Red Chest 2

The second Red Chest is offered to you as a part of the main story as a mission reward for fighting with a challenging boss in the Meridian Metroplex.

Meridian Metroplex Red Chest 3

It is the last Red Chest which you will find in the Meridian Metroplex. It is tricky for you to reach the middle of the zone. Also, it is the location of Typhon Dead Drop.

Lectra City Red Chest 1

You can find the first chest in the southern seaport named Big Dock Energy. It is t=also the exact location where you fight with Killavolt contestants Trudy.

Lectra City Red Chest 2

You can obtain the second Borderlands 3 Red Chest by completing the Kill Killavolt side mission, which is allotted at Lectra City and if offered by Moccia. You will get the chest and Killavolt in the western section of the city along the south.

Lectra City Red Chest 3

Fortunately, the third Red Chest in Lectra City doesn’t demand any side mission to complete. It is found at one of the battles royale contestants’ locations available in the north-central area of the city.

Skywell-27 Red Chest 1

The first Red Chest is hidden inside the Katagawa’s Pleasure Pit, available within the Skywell before you move down to the lower levels. It is located in the hatch, and you cannot access it until you move to other levels.

The second Red Chest allocated in the Skywell is found at the very end of the region. You have to defeat the Katagawa Ball Boss in the future, and it is available in the arena, which is located at the lowest section of Skywell. You must take the lift down twice.

Atlas HQ Red Chest 1

You can find the first chest at the very end of the region. You can get it in the far north section past the CEO’s office when you successfully defeat Katagawa Jr.

Atlas HQ Red Chest 2

The second chest is found Atlas HQ region, and it is also available after successfully defeating the boss of that area. You will find it located by an elevator which is not very far from the northern section of HQ below the CEO’s office.

Atlas HQ Red Chest 3

You will see the third Red Chest at Atlas HQ. It will be locked with a side mission, and you can apply for it after successfully defeating the boss of Atlas HQ Area. Once you have the side mission, you can find the Skunkworks Labs on the east side of the map inside a secret location from the second floor.

Neon Arterial Red Chest

You will find only one Borderlands 3 Red Chest in the Neon Arterial region. It is available towards the end when you drop your vehicle and enter the Green Diamon Station, which is operated by Bandits.

Forgotten Basilica Red Chest

Like other essential Vault Bosses, there are two Red Chests available for you when you successfully defeat the Vault Guardian in this region. Once you defeat the boss, you must enter the Vault of Rampager, and there you will see 2 Red Chests along with multiple loot chests in the back of the vault.
