A previous update expanded gameplay options, introduced new mechanics, furniture, building pieces, food weapons, and optimizations, thus gamers have their hopes set for something even better.

The Valheim Patch 0.202.19 update has been named after its main focus – home and hearth, which refer to cooking and building respectively. The update modifies axes and bows, adjusts food usage, and tweaks both blocking and staggering.

The Valheim Patch 0.202.19 developers tease us with ‘something mysterious and dark’ zipping past the plains and urge gamers to take the new adventure in stride. The developers have also added that “not even Odin has spied some of the new features being added”.

Well, color us all impressed. Play on to be amazed by Darkwood pieces such as shingle roofs, beams, decorations, crystal walls, and a steamy Viking hot tub! In addition to all of that, there’s a new obliterator tool that utterly destroys items you no longer want!

With reworked GUI, 12 new food items will make you drool with your mouth open! Weapons like a crystal battle-axe, silver, and a butcher knife also join you in this thrilling adventure! Scroll down to find the full list of new features!

More About Valheim

Forged into a glorious animation, Valheim is a survival game developed by the Swedish Iron Gate Studio. Valheim brims and burbles with Nordic mythology and Viking culture. One second, you’re trudging through snow-capped mountains and the next you find yourself fighting for survival in world-bending storms.

The game includes green grasslands where you can warm yourself with a cozy fire and shining bottom-clear rivers. But no matter how shiny and majestic it all sounds, under the surface lie terrible struggles for survival. The world is not as glittery as it would like you to be. It can be grueling. The attention to detail, the intricacies and the animation are simply majestic.

It’s a fact that gamers, both amateur and advanced couldn’t keep themselves off Valheim for several hours a day. Forge powerful weapons, create towering castles and voyage into the world of storms, beasts and monsters that will make cowards quiver with fear.

The game is simple enough. You can play solo or co-op with 1-10 players. Valheim features an unique combat system, item-crafting and weapon-forging, house, settlements and castle-building parts followed by thrilling adventures where you’ll be forced to fend off powerful primordial bosses. Collect rewards, create even more powerful items and bring back peace to this realm.

Throughout the game, you’d have to continuously explore, create, battle, upgrade and of course survive. The further you travel, the tougher it’ll get. But the more that you progress the better the rewards will be. Keep your bees around you and don’t forget to listen to the raven.
