Once you have completed the introduction on Isla Santuario, you will inevitably reach the main island region of Costa Del Mar. You will encounter all sorts of activities. The map is practically strewn with treasure hunts begging to be played!
Each treasure hunt brings you better weapons and upgraded gears. What’s not to like, right? Our objective for The Mongoose And The Man Treasure Hunt is to find Alvaro‘s hidden stash.
After you’ve reached the location, you would have to look for a bunch of notes stapled to the lampposts along with the property.
The notes will warn you of a mongoose. Weird right? What is harmful about a furry little mouse-like mammal? Plenty, it seems. Ignore the warnings like you ignore your ever-growing pile of assignments and rush forward.
You’ll find a locked gate on the west side of the property. Use your gun to shoot the lock on the gate. After entering players will be able to hear feral noises coming from the shed.
With the sunshine streaming through palm leaves, the shade has no business looking so creepy. But it does.
The orange rusty door looks like it has seen better days and parts of the wall sit silently with dust-laden on them. But the shed is locked and a key is nowhere in sight.
Go to the house and riffle through the documents next to the chest. These documents will tell you exactly how dangerous a mongoose can be. If you had any doubts, bid them adieu.

Looks like the owner has locked the vicious mongoose in the shed because it ate the key to the large chest. Head back outside. You will find a key next to the shed door.
Use it to unlock the shed and don’t forget what’s waiting for you inside. You will obviously, find a vicious mongoose waiting for you, inside. Kill the mongoose to get the key to the chest.
The mongoose has now learned its lesson. Do not gobble up stuff you can’t digest. But the advice will just bounce off its dead body.
Go back to the main house and open the locked chest with the help of the key. Open the chest and find yourself staring awestruck at the unique Far Cry weapon called the Lethal Dose.
Equipped with Soft Target Rounds the Lethal Dose is great (and only effective) against unarmored enemies. The Lethal Dose also comes equipped with a Micro Reflex Sight. You can use this gun in the most useful four-star “Reload All” mod.
With the help of “Reload, All” mod players can reload all the other weapons in their inventory every time they reload the pistol. This handy mod will prove useful if you have LMGs equipped that take a lot of time to get reloaded.
But just like the other unique Far Cry 6 weapons found throughout the game and hunts, the Lethal Dose cannot be modified through the workbench.
