The Long Drop Treasure Hunt is located in El Este, La Joya. La Joya is one of the sub-regions of the El Este region. To begin from the starting point, go to the northern section of the Santos Espinosa Dam. You will find a note stuck on the gate of a small shed near the dam.
Objective Of The Long Drop Treasure Hunt
The Long Drop Treasure Hunt would require you to locate the starting point in the open world and read the note at its location.
Regime soldiers have forced dam workers to store all of their military supplies onsite. Players would have to explore and find their way to the stash.
The Long Drop Treasure Hunt Walkthrough
Start by reading the note. Find the key to the dam shed to gain access to the stash. Spot the ladder next to the shed? Climb it and cross to the other side of the dam.
Now head out to the back of the building take a peek through the windows. You will be able to spot a lock you can shoot. Shoot it and climb up the roof.
Cross the door you opened. Once you are inside you will need to access the dam control panel.
To gain access you would have to first activate the sluice control by the calendar on the walls at the back of the room. Done?
Now push the button present on the side of the hydraulic monitoring machines. Turn the pressure valve present at the side of the room and last but not least press the button on the main console.
After you have followed all the above-mentioned steps properly and in the right order the dam will open. You will now be able to grab the key from the worker who fell down the broken bridge.
Head out. Use the grappling point at the dam bridge to rappel down to the worker’s body that will be stuck on the dam.
Grab his key and use grappling points to go back up. Return to the dam shed with the key in your hand.
Gain access to the shed and start looking through your stash!
The Long Drop Treasure Hunt Rewards
After you have completed the hunt you will be rewarded with a 150 Guerrilla XP and an Excavation Execution (shotgun).
Although Excavation Execution has no mods or attached, it ranks 3rd in the shotgun category and is capable of a lot of damage. It has low velocity and handling but is great for stealth!
