Marnie, a rival character in Pokemon Sword and Shield, is a green-eyed, black-haired idol of Team Yell. Marnie Pokemon is expected to appear in six battles in the game. Moreover, the pokemon used by her is the same in every match, it’s tricky to beat her. With such achievements in her teenage, the game awards a black badge to trainers who defeat her.

Pokemon Sword and POKEMON Shield are role-playing video games released in 2019. Bother the video games were developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokemon Company. They are the first installment in the eight generations of the Pokemon video game series. The players control a character of a young trainer who completes quests and fights battles against other trainers. He catches and trains creatures known as Pokemon. After defeating the enemy’s Pokemon in battles, the player’s Pokemon gains experience, which levels up the statistics and also helps them evolve into more powerful Pokemon.

Who is Marnie Pokemon?

This black-haired girl with piercing green eyes is the younger sister of Piers. Just like Hop and Bede, she is a rival character who specializes in Dark-type Pokemon. Piers, the older brother of Marnie, is the Gym leader of Spikemuth and the captain of Team Yell. Later on, he is succeeded by Marnie, who then leads the Team Yell.

As a Gym leader, she gives Dark Badge to Trainers who defeat her in the battles. Trainers need to collect different types of Gym Badges in order to qualify for the region’s Pokemon League. In order to collect these badges, the trainers have to defeat a Gym Leader. The list of Badges is given below:

Marnie is grateful for her wild fans; however, she won’t hesitate to show her bad side if they annoy others. She is also not very good at expressing her happiness. Since Morpeko is her partner and her best friend, she puts up with Morperko’s mood swings.

Marnie in Pokemon appears to be a young girl with a petite body. Her black hair is strangely styled. They are somewhat parted in the middle, a few covering one side of her face and others let down on her back. Her hair stands in an upward direction, resembling horns. She also has a black choker around her neck with three silver shades. As for her outfit, she wears a cute pink one-piece paired with a black Gothic jacket and boots. The outfit shows her stern as well as the pretty side.

Marnie’s Biography

The player first meets Marnie in Motostoke’s Budew Drop Inn. However, the real challenge starts prior to the third Gym battle. After her defeat in the battle, Marnie learns that she has a long way to go and thus starts preparing for it. Marnie fills the position for her older brother Piers when he is defeated in the battle. After the player defeats her in the semi-finals of the Champion cup, she gives up her ambition for Championship and replaces her brother as the new Gym leader.
