Best Killers in Dead by Daylight
Developed by Behaviour Interactive, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric survival horror game that takes survival to a whole another level.
Dead by Daylight doesn’t just feature original characters, it also includes crossover characters from other popular horror franchises like Halloween, Left 4 Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Evil Dead, Ghost Face, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, Crypt TV, Resident Evil and Hellraiser!
There’s only one basic rule when worse comes to worst – get killed or kill. You can either hunt down your friends as the killer or run away from whoever the killer is. The killer has only one job – to kill. But like we have already discussed, killing is no cakewalk.
It can be tricky to choose just one amongst so many. Read on to find out about the best one!

Following is the best killer according to their abilities –
10. The Nightmare
The Nightmare – This complex killer has a lot going on between his dream world and his teleporting orbs. Once the survivors fall asleep they won’t be able to wake up until they have faced damage of some kind, helped each other or have run across to an alarm clock.
The Nightmare, just like the name suggests is deadly and is dominant in The Dream World, Dream Snares, teleportation and Dream Pallets.
9. The Oni
The Oni – The more the damage the stronger the Oni gets. The Oni has a thing for blood and will most probably slurp it all out of your body. His blood drinking fires up his ultimate ability – Yamaoka’s Wrath.
Once Yamaoka’s Wrath is activated it will only be a moment before the Oni destroys every survivor. Bloody trails left by his victims would lead even an innocent child to the survivors.
Although the Oni is obviously very dangerous, his movements are large and thus one can escape him by being quick.
8. The Executioner
The Executioner – The Executioner takes the appearance of Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2. Although he can’t move around the map much, the Executioner can use Rites Of Judgment present in his toolkit.
The Rites Of Judgment places trails on the ground that can send survivors straight into a Tormented state while revealing their locations. His lunge move will make sure you have no time to think about his lunge move.
7. The Hag
The Hag – Give a good round of applause to one of the scariest killers of the game. The Hag loves jump scaring survivors and her major trick includes getting survivors to trigger the traps.
The Hag will quickly teleport to your location if she’s within 40 meters of it if you’ve a triggered a trap. The Hag can smack the daylights of the survivors once she reaches them.
6. The Doctor
The Doctor – Weak killer on the streets, effective murderer in the sheets – the Doctor is great at locating survivors. Although he isn’t a very experienced killer, his ability of Survivors’ Madness makes the ordeal easier for him.
All said and done if you’ve failed a skill check, boy do we have some bad news for you.
5. The Huntress
The Huntress – The Huntress’ unique abilities set her apart from others. Her continuous humming of a lullaby indicates how close or far a survivor is. But it doesn’t just end at her terror radius, the Huntress loves throwing hatchets at survivors and depends heavily on throwing allowing him to be Best Killers in Dead by Daylight.
Players getting hit by a hatchet will be injured and if they’re already injured will be killed.
4. The Hillbilly
The Hillbilly – Armed with a deadly chainsaw, the Hillbilly is amongst the most dangerous killers in the game.
The Hillbilly also has a hammer but whenever he charges with his chainsaw he becomes tremendously fast and kills survivors quicker than anyone else.
3. The Blight
The Blight – With unmatched speed and his special power Blighted Corruption, The Blight can rush ahead towards the Survivors but it won’t be able to attack them making him one of the Best Killers in Dead by Daylight.
The Blight is also skilled at scouting maps, hexing interactable items and catching the survivors unaware.
2. The Spirit
The Spirit – The ability Yamaoka’s Haunting gives the Spirit an extra edge. It allows her to leave her husk behind and project herself onto an Ethereal plane hence letting her move throughout the map, unseen and hidden.
Although in this state she won’t be able to spot any survivors she will be able to track and follow them through noise and scratch marks. Spirit can catch survivors unaware and scare the living daylights out of them.
1. The Nurse
The Nurse – With an ability to teleport wherever she wants and blink through obstacles, The Nurse is quite unstoppable. She can slit your throat before you can utter a word and although survivors might use one among them to bait the killer in it will be pretty useless against The Nurse. Despite of being released so early, Nurse is still tops the Best Killers in Dead by Daylight.
She can also sense a survivor healing thus making the whole survival process a tad bit tougher.
