Genshin Impact 2.2 Release
Genshin Impact 2.2 is now available live on iOS, PS5, PS4, Android, and other PC platforms. miHoyo explained about the maintenance that will commence on October 13 at 6 AM UTC. The maintenance will take about 5 hours and US gamers would only be able to notice changes at 8 PM the next day. Unlike anniversary events, this update has brought many new characters and items.
“Our developers will distribute compensation to Travelers via in-game mail within 5 hours after the update maintenance is finished. The mail will expire after 30 days, so don’t forget to claim the attached compensation in time.”

If you will be playing Genshin Impact 2.2 on your PC, you would just have to exit the game and click on the Update button after opening the Genshin Impact launcher. If you use an iPhone to play you can head out to the App Store update to get the new version.
Android users will have to open the game and follow some instructions to get Genshin Impact 2.2. Players using PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 can check out the Genshin Impact 2.2 update from the home screen by pressing the “OPTIONS” button and clicking on “Check For Update.”
This update will bring you Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration on non-PlayStation platforms after debuting on PS5 and PS4 in version 2.1. “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog” will be available on iOs and will now be supporting 120fps on selected devices.
Its availability is debatable and we can only wait for our favorite streamers and YouTubers to put these issues at rest. Genshin Impact has already won a lot of acclaims but will the new update better it or make it worse? We will just have to wait and see.
Genshin Impact 2.2 Update Overview
Genshin Impact players will be receiving 300 Primogems as compensation (60 Primogens per hour). The Labyrinth Warriors event will bring the new update with a free copy of Xinyan for gamers who have enough “Aged Tokens.”
Players will be able to earn Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Character Level-Up Materials, Talent Level-Up Materials, and Crown of Insight in exchange for the tokens.
Players having Adventure Rank 30+ or those who have completed Archon Quest Chapter II: Act III – Omnipresence Over Mortals can participate freely.
The Genshin Impact 2.2 update will also include Tsurumi Island – the new Inazuma Island that players will be able to access following the completion of the “Seirai Stormchasers“ World Quest. A new four-star character called “Protector From Afar” Thoma will make an appearance too.
The Genshin Impact 2.2 update will also have new hangout events with Thoma and Sayu. New weapons like Polar Star, Wavebreaker’s Fin, Akuoumaru, and Mouun’s Moon will be added along with new Rifthound monsters.
Players will also have a new domain – Moshiri Kara and a new realm layout – Silken Courtyard. Events like Labyrinth Warriors, Shadow Of The Ancients, and Dreams Of Bloom will make sure you stay hooked throughout.
